Holy watchalong! Scott and Kendell start a new podcast where we discuss every episode of the classic Batman TV series starring Adam West and Burt Ward!
In this episode they discuss why they wanted to start this project, why they think it’s a good series, and hopefully, convince you to give this show another shot.
In Memoriam: Harry Jackson
Our family got a little smaller this past weekend, and the world got a little less nice.
Level Up’s pinball operator Harry Jackson III was killed in a car accident. This news has left all of us here devastated.
Harry starring in our trailer for the retro movie night showing of Raiders of the Lost Ark.
We had a running joke calling him “The Nicest Guy in the World” and he always lived up to that moniker. If you ever had the pleasure of meeting Harry you would know he treated everyone with respect and enthusiasm.
Harry came into our lives as many do: as a comics regular. From there he quickly befriended every one of us. Sharing our passions together have created some of our favorite collective memories. His enthusiasm for pinball led to him putting one in our store, which, of course, snowballed into over six rolling through our doors. He was a fixture at every event always looking to help out whatever way he could. This year’s Christmas party is going to be tough without him.
In addition to helping with events and bringing pinball to our stores Harry was a prolific podcaster. Whether it was his Star Trek: The Next Generation podcast Hailing Frequencies, or being an almost constant fixture on Level Up and Friends (Here’s one of our favorite Harry episodes) he always brought his trademark enthusiasm to conversation.
Harry is survived by his parents, sister, fiancé, and the countless friends he made. He truly was one of the most beloved people who has ever existed.
We can think of no better tribute to Harry’s memory than try being nice to someone everyday.
