Since we almost exclusively deal in nostalgia here at Level Up Entertainment, we like to look back on our pop culture experiences when the moment is right. And with the release of Detective Comics #1000 this Wednesday the time is right to look back on some of our favorite memories with the Dark Knight himself, Batman!
Batman has had some amazing stories over the past 80 years. Some not only shaped the story of the Dark Knight, but the comic landscape as a whole. While there are so many excellent stories to read (in truth too many for us to chronicle here) these are some of our favorite Batman stories!
While we all enjoy the free comics part of Free Comic Book Day, we often don’t get to learn too much about those who create such wonderful books. This year however, we were able to ask the creators of one of 2019’s free comics, Hope, writer Dirk Manning and artist K. Lynn Smith a bit about the creation of their exciting new super hero series!
