With only 3 weeks to go, we are ready to announce our special guests for this year’s Halloween ComicFest! If you have attended any of our events in the past you may recognize some of these names. They have all appeared at past events, but never all at the same time! Guests will be available for sketches and signing from 11:00 am until 4 pm. Joe Del Beato - Artist Talented artist and friend of the store, Joe Del Beato is best known for his work on G.I. Joe, M.A.S.K., Inhumanoids, & Sectaurs. Joe operates his own shop, AC Comics, that showcases his artwork. AC Comics is located in the Noyes Arts Garage in Atlantic City. When not running AC Comics, Joe teaches drawing classes at the Ventnor City Library. His comic Super!, which he co-writes from Atlantic City NJ, was one of the most critically praised indie comics of 2013. Justin Piatt is the co-creator and co-writer of Super!, and acting publisher of Unlikely Heroes Studios. In other words, If it's Zack's job to create world-class comics, it's Piatt's job to make sure the world sees it. Unlikely Heroes’ comic Super! has taken off in a huge way and we are extremely excited to announce that the trade collection of Super! will be available at Halloween Comicfest! Their tale of a reanimated corpse sworn to protect humanity has spanned two comic series and was adapted into an animated film in 2012. Buz and Ken will be available for custom sketches and signing.
