We are partnering up with our friends at Starcade and the South Jersey Pinball League to bring you a new annual event in the honor of our fallen Friend Harry S. Jackson III. This August 12th, come out to our stores for a very special event to raise money for his scholarship
Professional Pinballers
At Starcade from noon - 9 we will have an IFPA sanctioned competition. Cost of entry is $50, half of which goes into the scholarship fund! Also 10% off all refreshment sales during the event goes towards the scholarship too!
Casual connoisseurs
At Level Up Entertainment, all the money spent on Harry’s pinball games at our location goes to the scholarship. We will also host a charity bake sale, and a 50/50 Raffle.
Tournament Rules
FORMAT: 8 rounds of 4-player match play qualifying. Scoring per round is 7/5/3/1 in 4 player group - if 3 player group, scoring is 7/4/1. Subsequent rounds after round 1 will be paired amongst equal points totals until the end of qualifying. Top 16 make "A" finals, no byes. Places 17th through 32nd make the "B" consolation finals. Everyone else will go to the "C" consolation finals. Final standings for WPPR considerations will be locked for positions 17 and down; players in A division will be ranked for standings according to finals finishing positions.
FINALS FORMAT: "A" division will play a modified PAPA format, 3 games per round chosen from preset banks with top 2 from each group advancing. B and C divisions (if enough players to have a C division) will each be 3 strike knockout.
