  • If participant is under the age of thirteen a parent or guardian must be present to consent to them entering the Retro Game Challenge.

  • For your score or time to count, you must come in to Level Up Entertainment and play the game in-front of an official employee of Level Up Entertainment to record your score or time. This must also be done during the times designated by Level Up Entertainment, which are posted at the store and one their website.

  • Participants may only enter once per challenge. There will be no practice round at the event but participants are encouraged to practice ahead of the challenge in their own time.

  • Participants do not have to complete each challenge to be eligible for prize(s) and to become eligible to compete in the finals.

  • Participants may only attempt a challenge during the designated hours for it. Failure to do so, results in a participant missing out on that specific challenge.

  • If participant has the best time/score by the end of the challenge period they MUST be present at the finals on Free Comic Book Day on Saturday May 5th (time to be determined) and participate in the final game challenge to receive prize(s). Failure to do so will result in the participant with the next highest score taking their place in the finals and being awarded the prize(s).

  • If the participant should lose all their lives or get a game over during their challenge attempt, they will have failed that challenge, and no score or time will be recorded for them for that challenge.

  • In event of a tie in a high score challenge your completion time will break it, and vice versa for lowest time challenges. If no other fair way to break a tie is obvious, you may be asked to participate in a head to head challenge with the player you’re tied with, or another method of determining a winner.
